PracitceAlpha is dedicated to providing simple to use software solutions to benefit the dental industry. Our focus is two fold. Increase revenue and save time. We do this through a number of factors that include automation and education.
At PracticeAlpha we believe in building relationships with our clinics to ensure you have an easier and more produtive day. It is because of this, our services have been designed and developed with your feedback and insight.
Our mission is to improve your level of patient care through our software services.
PracticeAlpha’s story begins back in 2003. While Dean Weber was working on the Byte Support Help Desk in Calgary helping Dentrix customers he was commonly asked to come out to the clinic to help them. The answer was no. It was no, until he started City Wide Data Management Inc in Novermber 2003.
Dean provided IT services for Calgary and area. Demand for his services continued to grow and in 2007 Cameron Chenier came on board to expand City Wide’s capacity.
Similar to 2003, City Wide was taking many requests from clinics across the city. In 2008 a common request was asked. Could appointment reminders be easily sent to patients from their management software. At the time there was no service in Canada to do this.
Fast forward to September 2008 when City Wide Data Management launched ConfirmByEmail (CBE). ConfirmByEmail started as a primitive utility solely to autmoatically confirm appointments through email.
With the continued help of our clients, ConfirmByEmail grew to a full fledged communication platform including recall reminders, patient feedback, newsletters, short notice notifications, canned messages, call alerts and much more.
The platform was sending thousands of messages every day for clinics across Canada.
While ConfirmByEmail out grew it’s name by 2009 as it went well beyond confirming appointments, which also included text messaging, it wasn’t until 2018 on it’s 10th birthday that it got the rebranding it needed.
In September 2018 ConfirmByEmail became PracticeConnect!
The new umbrella, PracticeAlpha, has given a new broarder range of direction. The ever expanding industry has brought new challenges and software solutions. It is because of this PracticeAlpha has included more avenues of support for their clients.
While many aspects of the business and services have changed, one thing has stayed the same. We always listen to our customers.
